How to properly and beautifully wear a scarf with a coat?
A scarf is one of the convenient accessories that can easily complement your image, set the right mood and place accents the way you want. There are many subtleties in choosing a scarf and wearing it correctly, which determine how beautiful your coat and the chosen scarf will look.
How to choose a scarf
The scarf is matched to the coat based on two criteria - color and fabric. As for the color, there are also two options here: either the scarf will be in the same color scheme as the outerwear, or it will be some kind of contrasting shades.
Try to take into account the complexion. Slender girls look good in light scarves. Dark colors are suitable for curvy women.
How to wear a scarf with a coat - general rules
The most common option is a regular knot. We throw a scarf around the neck, leaving one end longer than the other. We throw the long part around the neck again. The resulting loop must be straightened on the chest. The same option can be performed vice versa, so that the ends remain on the back.
Scarf and hat combo
The same pattern of different sizes will look good. You will have to spend time looking for such models, because the finished sets just look the same. If you can’t find anything, you can diversify the image with a decorative decoration that you can choose yourself.
Stole + coat
Coat + tube scarf
Checked or tartan scarf
This is a special decoration. It is reminiscent of antiquity, in particular the Scottish knights, and suggests a particularly intelligent classical look. But despite all the severity, it surprisingly evokes comfort and warmth.
Since tartan already includes several colors in its range, in which red is often present, you can successfully shade it with bright lipstick without looking back at the coat. Then it does not really matter what color the outerwear will be.
If your coat is pastel, you can complement it with green or navy blue tartan.

How to tie a scarf on different coats
With a collar
If your coat has a collar, don't hide it under a scarf. Wrap the scarf around your neck and leave the collar lying down. Or lift the collar, then you will be even warmer, and the image will become even more fashionable. The ends of the scarf can be hidden under the cutout of the plateau.
If you have a long scarf and a collared coat, you can lift up the collar and wrap the scarf around it as well as around your head. Then no wind will be terrible for you.
Collarless
The neck in a coat without a collar is completely unprotected, which means that all responsibility lies with the scarf. One of the most effective ways is a snood or a scarf tied in the shape of a snood.
V-neck
V - shaped neckline also leaves a lot of room for imagination. Volumetric scarves are suitable here, which completely drape the neckline and cover the neck.
Hooded
A coat with a hood does not create any restrictions for you. You can successfully play with the hood by wrapping the scarf under it or on top: dropped ends or hidden under a scarf, tucked into a coat. The hood doesn't get in the way even if you're wearing a snood scarf.
oversize
The oversized coat is designed to be voluminous. Therefore, it is one of the most difficult things to combine with scarves. Based on the laws of logic, it is logical to choose a modest scarf of not very large sizes for a voluminous coat. Most often, oversized coats are generally worn without scarves.
The most successful option is a very long scarf, which is casually thrown around the neck and its ends are left to hang freely almost to the floor.
